IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CATCH CANINE TRAINER
Jayne has been connected with CATCH Canine Training Academy since 2019. For the past three years she has channeled all of her energy through CATCH to connect aspiring & newly established dog trainers launch into their new career with the benefit of all the knowledge she was able to get from her Bachelor’s of Science in Canine Science program.
CATCH is the number one distance learning program for a formal dog training education program, which should be the backbone of all new trainer’s entry into the industry. This involves coaching students through (Ph 1-10) in two core curriculum courses. Master Class info / Basics Pro info. She has also developed & instructed many of their 4-Week Online Workshop offerings. You can read more about upcoming & past Workshops below.
AS THE FOUNDER / HEAD DEVELOPER OF THE CANINE CASE STUDIES COMMUNITY
Jayne is spearheading the development of a learning portal & community meeting place project for Dog Pros called Canine Case Studies. Canine Case Studies is a huge undertaking by a collaboration of long time trainers working to fill the gap in neutral, not-for-profit online community gathering spaces for dog professionals including dog walkers, dog sitters, and dog trainers. As of now, all quality online learning portals are behind a paywall and/or attached to a specific training certification community. While those are valuable in-groups, the Canine Case Studies board has noticed that the only current “neutral” online gathering place is through Facebook groups, or by connecting with individual trainers via social media platforms. The board agrees that digital/online networking is crucial, but unfortunately the virtrol and dysfunctional social engagement mindset often created by over-interaction with those platforms often clouds the water and probably contributes to some of the difficulty in oneline network with other trainers.
